Request to Speak- Board Meeting
Please fill out this form. If the item you wish to bring to the Board’s attention is not on the agenda, please provide a brief description of the subject matter in the space below.
Members of the public may register to speak on any item listed on the agenda. The President will recognize you during the course of the meeting. Public comments unrelated to agenda items are permitted either mid-meeting or at the end, prior to adjournment, at the discretion of the Board.
Provisions for permitting any individual or group to address the Board concerning any item on the agenda of a special meeting, or to address the Board at a regular meeting on any subject that lies within the jurisdiction of the Board of Directors, shall be as follows;
- Five minutes may be allotted to each speaker.
- No boisterous conduct shall be permitted at any Board meeting. Persistence in boisterous conduct shall be grounds for summary termination, by the President, of that person’s right to address.
- No oral presentation shall include charges or complaints against any named employee or by another other reference which tends to identify. All charges or complaints against employees shall be submitted to the Board of Directors.
Any materials the speaker wishes to provide to the Board of Directors should be submitted no later than noon on the day of the scheduled Board meeting. The submission will be distributed to the Board as appropriate.
