Leslie Altamirano, Director

Leslie Altamirano is a dedicated public servant, proud mother of three daughters raised in Rubidoux, and a passionate advocate for her community. Her daughters attended Jurupa Unified School District schools, where Leslie also served as a substitute teacher, further deepening her connection to the families and youth of the area. A first-generation Latina, Leslie earned her degree in Psychology from California State University, Dominguez Hills while running her own business, showcasing her determination and commitment to personal growth and service.

As a former Jurupa Valley City Councilmember, Leslie worked to improve infrastructure, expand youth programs, and promote transparency in government. Her involvement as a Lions Club member and Division Coordinator for Jurupa AYSO highlights her dedication to empowering others through service and mentorship. With her extensive experience in education, business, and community leadership, Leslie is excited to bring her collaborative and solutions-oriented approach to her new role at the Rubidoux Community Services District, continuing her mission to enhance the well-being and quality of life for all residents.
