Brandon Thomas, Assistant General Manager
Brandon Thomas brings over two decades of local experience in water systems management to his role as Assistant General Manager at Rubidoux Community Services District. Before joining Rubidoux, Brandon advanced through various roles at Jurupa Community Services District, starting as a Water Production Operator and ultimately serving as Water Systems Superintendent and Chief Plant Operator. These positions provided him with extensive hands-on experience in all aspects of water treatment and distribution, while sharpening his leadership and technical expertise.
As part of his duties at Rubidoux, Brandon oversees the District’s engineering and operations functions with a strong commitment to delivering the highest quality water to the public. He is passionate about sustainability and integrating new technologies, spearheading water conservation initiatives and modernizing operations to ensure long-term efficiency. His focus on regulatory compliance and innovative solutions is essential in meeting the District’s current and future water demands, ensuring reliable, high-quality water for generations to come.
Brandon holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business from American Public University and is certified by the California State Water Resources Control Board at the highest levels in Water Distribution and Water Treatment (SWRCB Grade 5).
Outside of work, Brandon is a dedicated family man. He and his wife are proud parents of a daughter pursuing a nursing degree and a teenage son grade who plays water polo. When he’s not cheering from the pool deck, Brandon enjoys spending time with the family, running, fishing, hunting, restoring classic cars, and embracing adventurous challenges.
